This digital escape room series provides reading intervention for 8th and 9th grade students who read at a 4th-5th grade reading level. Each game is a reading adventure with puzzles and riddles that engage students in collaboration and critical thinking. Students practice making inferences, sequencing, and prioritizing information. You also get thematically-related nonfiction readings, creative writing, vocabulary, and research activities at the target grade level.

This Digital Breakout activity follows Andie, a teenager from the town of Burnbridge, as she follows clues to find her missing best friend. It is Game #1 in the Burnbridge Breakout series. This game ends up being pretty light-hearted, but will give you and your students a good sense of how the technical aspects work.
>>>This game isn’t at the same reading level as the others in this bundle AT ALL, but it may suit some of your students very well, and I wanted to give you a chance to try it. This has been deducted from the overall price of the bundle. 🙂
